This a quite the lengthy one, but it's all good. The patch is quite big too, but there's reasons for that. It also contains all the changes from 0.16.

FIXES/CHANGES

I found that Maxi and Mrs.Misaki's gallery unlocks were wrong. This is because of an internal reshuffle of the gallery, and I missed a few bits! They're now corrected, and work on auto-switches, so should unlock once the update is applied.

En Garde wasn't working as intended, and has been changed.

Indoor areas now have a slight zoom. They felt off to me, with the big black areas around them. Let me know what you think.

In an effort to reduce the overall file size of the game, I've reduced the resolution of the Lore and gallery entries. They still look the exact same in the game. (This is one of the reasons for the larger patch size, all the gallery entries have been edited)

Tulle is now more straight forward to have sex with. Instead of having to endure Cynthia's 'love' first, you can simply ask Tulle for sex after completing her quest. The main reason for this, is that I started taking a look at how you approach characters, and realized some things are a bit too convoluted.

Lyra has now had her gallery entry added to the encyclopaedia. It works on an auto-switch, so if you've had fun with her already, it should unlock.
It's number 21. 23 is Polly & Holly, 22 is reserved for Lyra when things eventually develop more with her.

As usual, though, the encyclopaedia will need re-initializing. There's someone who can do that for you at Traveller's Rest.

There is also night time music now!

VOYUER SCENES

There is now an option to WITNESS scenes that are necessary to advance a plot or relation. I'm going to keep it like this, with voyeur and femdom scenes being 100% optional. So each person who plays the game, can experience what they want to.
You'll have 3 options when you encounter said scenes.

Watch - See the full thing
Witness - The Brave will simply take note of what's happened without the player having to watch. This will advance things just the same as watching.
Leave - Save the scene for a later time.

The main reason is for the development of the character. The Brave is a rather simple, innocent person at first, unaware of what's going on around him and what his home country is really like. With a suggestion from a certain succubus, he begins to find out what it's truly like, and how sex mad everyone seems to be. From this, the player can go two ways. Be BRAVE, and try to put a stop to it all and maybe make some of the women his along the way, or, submerge into the filth and join in! This way, different players can experience the game in different ways. As for who's a 'love interest', that's for you to decide. Do you want to make a certain women yours? Or do you just want them as a floozy/whore on the side?

But moving forward, Voyeur and femdom scenes will be avoidable extras, not required for the plot. The more I've worked on this game, the more it's grown into something different. Also, I just really like making porn scenes, and find voyeur to be a good framing device in a medieval/fantasy setting. These future scenes will involve characters that are NOT potential love interests of the MC.

SKILLS

After play-testing, I found it odd that you can do 'whirling slash' while wielding a longbow. So, I've been giving weapons skills a change. Every weapon type comes with a specific skill, and you can learn more specific ones from books. I've also changed this for magic skills. Eventually, at a certain level, they'll be no more skills learned from leveling up, and they'll have to be learned elsewhere. There's a new book shop in Traveller's Rest where you can find some. I've also updated the fast travel pic for Traveller's Way.

NEW QUEST AND SEX PARTNERS - HOLLY & POLLY

A new area has opened up to the southwest of Traveller's Way, Western Thickets. Here, you can find more enemies to fight and a few things to find. You can also find Holly, the stuttering Elven mage. She needs help fighting the Alpha Wolf, especially since she's afraid of dogs. Help her out and she may reward you! She'll be a party member in the wolf cave. This has lead me to the idea of doing this more in the future, mainly with Ria, Lyra and Maxi. Once we reach Holts, it'll become something more.

What's next in 0.18?

A MAC version is something I'm going to look at. It shouldn't be too hard, yet I imagine I won't be able to play-test it myself.

We're still not quite ready to travel to Holts, and I'm still cooking up who the next boss fight will be.

I think I'll see about doing a relations quest for Vivianna, but try to keep it short and sweet.
There is also a big, spooky mansion that needs to be explored...
