Name Change
Not The Brave, that's staying.
Instawank - That could be changing.
I feel Instawank was fun at first but I don't feel like it represents what I'm doing well enough. When I first started making comics, I intended all of them to be about characters who use the pornographic social media app. Yet, I feel Instawank is better as a self-contained thing, rather than my brand name. My mind is still turning on it, as I think of something better.
Anyway, while working on Chai's Hypersexuality Diary, I have found time to work on some bits for The Brave.
Next Boss fight
Time for a magic user! Meet Luciana. An esteemed sorceress, who has come to test The Braves ability to deal with magic.
There will also be the introduction of barriers, which are able to block damage in a variety of ways.
Designing Holts
The city has two sides.
One being clean and well kept
The other, dirty and cramped.
You will begin to learn more about Anaias herself, and what it's like to live under her.
There will be a few quests scattered here and there, with some citizens of the city to interact with.
Companion Weapons and Their Expeditions
This one has been giving me trouble but this is what I've theorized so far.
Ria - Sword & Shield? A Staff? Maybe a longbow? Her expeditions will involve dealing with alchemy.
Maxi - Flintlock Pistols and hunting dangerous creatures
Polly - Magic Tome and gathering various items for her and Holly's project.
Cynthia - Whip! And finding incredibly rare ingredients for her perfumes.
Lyra - Daggers and doing stealth missions to steal things.
Tulle, Mrs.Misaki and Vivianna are the three I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for. Maybe they're better suited to just being romantic companions, rather than combatants. What do you think? Let me know!
Crafting and Cooking
This feature works great but the layout is a bit... naff. I'm not the best at javascript, so it'll be looked at in the future.
I'm not going to give a time frame on when the update will be out. I'm a human being, sometimes, s*** happens.
And Chai's game is in the final stages, so I want to keep my focus on it until it's 100% done.
But I am very appreciative to everyone who has played the game, and returns to ask questions. It shows that I am making something good here, and I want to carry on with it. Just wish I could cut some other stuff out of my life and do it full time. But then I'd be poor and wouldn't be able to pay for a place to live, and wouldn't be able to work on the game, full stop!

Love the new party-system direction your going in! Definitely fits the game more IMO, as you progress the game with the gals, you get to know em more and unlock scenes with just like any other RPGs! That reminds me of BG3/dragon age where you get to romance your companions. I don't mind the name change, but the Brave as is good! Maybe the hero gets "braver" as he meets new gals to join his party.
As for weapons for the gals,
Ria - spears could work for her (as sword&shield might be redundant to the hero, and staff would be magical, so another melee weapon like spear is great for her, or a bow!)
Maxi - definitely dual guns, or even crossbows
Polly - yup, definitely magical gal
Cynthia - another magical gal, but with whips. Great choice!
Lyra - yup daggers/thief archetype
Tulle - she could be a healer archetype I guess? Don't know about her weapon tho, maybe slingshots? Or rod?
Mrs. Misaki - could be stereotypical, but Katanas lol or fists/monk archetype
Vivianna - another healer type maybe? Maybe staff or mace + shield?
Plus another gal that could fit the "knight" and "warrior" role.

Hey dont worry about it keep ur own pace youre making art here plus we can wait you are already giving this to us for free. Keep up the work im excited for the future updates sbout chai its not my cup of tea but the story is great and also the art is also great
Thank you so much, means a lot hearing that! Yea, I do understand Chai is pretty much the opposite to The Brave if you think about it. But I thought I'd try diversifying a bit. Also, from working on it, I've learned how to do a couple things that I can use to improve The Brave! Anyway, thanks again for stopping by, put a smile on my face reading that!
